I was in the shower and my girlfriend came in and used the bathroom. I'm not quite ready for that level of intimacy. How can I tell her?

Have you slept with her? I'm not so sure you can complain after you two have wrinkled sheets together. Was it her barging in on you that bugged you, or what she did once she was inside? You can always lock the door, genius -- it's okay to want to be alone in there. But if she's a serious girlfriend, get used to this kind of thing, or she may become frustrated with you. If you deserve to be intimate in the ways you want to be, she deserves a little leeway, too.

My ex invited me to be her platonic date at her uncle's wedding. I agreed and bought a plane ticket, but now I'm having second thoughts. Is it a bad idea that I'm going along?

It’s fine by me. The weekend has two possible outcomes: You'll get the chance to meet and mingle with single ladies looking for love (a win) while you stay platonic with your ex and have a few good drinks (also a win). The less likely scenario (since your ex's intention is for this date to be platonic) is that you'll end up back with her—whether for a night or for the long haul. Only you can decide if that's a win or a loss.
